HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this Opportunity:
This role sits within the Chief Security Office where it's our job to ensure we keep our customers, colleagues, and assets safe from threat. A key driver of this is data and AI, as such the Security Data & AI lab plays a critical role. We have a brilliant opportunity for a data scientist to join our team.

- Collaborating with data engineers, DevOps engineers, and domain experts to deliver solutions across many branches of security.
- Working with our internal customers and stakeholders to convert business problems into data science solutions.
- Integrating solutions into the existing systems and processes through MLOps and model explainability, in order to ensure model insights are actionable.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience delivering data science or analytics projects from problem definition through to implementation, with the ability to articulate measurable business impact.

- Knowledge of foundational model systems and frameworks / best practices for building agents.
- Experience using Python and common data science libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy and visualisation frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and transforming large datasets, ideally using platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar 'big data' warehouses.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to turning business challenges into data-driven solutions.
